Organizational Needs Analysis
An Organizational Needs Analysis (ONA) identifies the challenges and needs in an organization. This analysis should be the foundation of any training program, intervention, or solution. Its purpose is to aid in the decision making process by defining all the elements, issues, facts, and features taking place within the organization’s systems or processes, and to align recommendations with the organization’s strategic plan and desired outcome.

Training Needs Analysis
Training Needs Analysis targets critical training needs by comprehensively evaluating the current situation and comparing it to the desired situation. A training needs analysis will also help to identify the nature and content of the training program.

Task and Job Analysis
Task Analysis is the process of defining the work activities, tasks and processes performed by, or products and services produced by, an employee or group of employees. The end result is improved management of the organization’s workforce.

Job Analysis is the process of identifying the knowledge, aptitudes and skills that are actually required to perform jobs within an organization. Assessment instruments are then used to measure the skill levels of current and/or prospective employees to identify each person’s strengths and specific skill deficiencies based on the requirements of the job.

Hiring managers who use pre-employment testing as a proactive measure to reduce turnover find it to be an accurate predictor of job performance. Professionally prepared and administered tests are impartial and not subject to the preconceptions of a job interviewer and they give all qualified applicants an equal chance.
