Confined Space Entry
This class covers OSHA’s stringent
guidelines concerning confined space areas, using MCC-Business &
Technology’s confined space simulator. OSHA Standard 1910.146
requires employers to develop and implement a comprehensive
program to minimize risk when working in confined spaces.
HAZWOPER 24-Hour Training
This is an excellent source of
initial off-site hazardous waste operations and emergency response
training for non-routine site workers and emergency responders.
During this course, the groundwork is established for future
site-specific training.
HAZWOPER 40-Hour Training
This comprehensive training is
recommended for those who have a potential for hazardous substance
exposure while performing required duties. It meets off-site
training requirements for general site workers and RCRA operations
site workers. Emergency response personnel and other hazardous
materials workers will find this course extremely valuable for
initial training. Hands-on experience is an essential part of the
course.
OSHA 500 Trainer Course in Standards for the Construction
Industry
This course is designed for personnel in the private
sector interested in teaching the 10-hour and 30-hour construction
safety and health outreach programs to their employees and other
groups. Special emphasis is placed on those topics that are
required in the 10-hour and 30-hour programs and those that are the
most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guideline. Participants
will be briefed on effective instructional approaches and the use
of visual aids and handouts. Upon successful completion of the
course and passing the written Outreach Program exam, participants
will be authorized to conduct both 10- and 30-hour construction
safety courses and will receive completion cards.
OSHA 501 Trainer Course in Standards for General Industry
This course is for private sector personnel from all types of
industries. It is designed to present detailed information on how
the provisions of the OSH Act may be implemented in the workplace.
Rights and responsibilities, the appeals process, record keeping
and Voluntary Protection Programs are covered. This four-day course
also includes an introduction to OSHA’s general industry standards
and an overview of the requirements of the more frequently
referenced standards. Upon successful completion of the course and
passing the written Outreach Program exam, participants will be
authorized to conduct both the 10- and 30-hour voluntary compliance
courses and will receive completion cards.
OSHA 510 Standards for the Construction Industry
This course introduces private sector personnel to OSHA policies,
procedures and standards, as well as construction safety and health
principles.
OSHA 511 Standards for General Industry
This four-day course
is an introduction to OSHA policies, procedures and standards, as
well as general industry safety and health principles. The scope
and application of the OSHA general industry standards is discussed.
Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are most hazardous,
along with recommended abatement techniques.
