Our support staff has over 70 years of combined experience and each administrator is committed to providing accurate and timely information and data for our clients.


Vickie Burns

Vickie Burns is an administrative assistant for MCC Business & Learning Solutions, a division of Metropolitan Community College that provides a wide variety of training, development and consulting services to business and industry in and around metropolitan Kansas City.

Vickie has been with MCC since 2000, when she joined the Technical & Skilled Trades department at the Business & Technology campus. She moved into her current role with MCC Business & Learning Solutions in 2007.

Vickie earned an associate of arts in legal administrative support from Central Missouri State University (now University of Central Missouri) and worked for seven years as a legal secretary and bookkeeper. She has also held various other administrative positions, including three years at a high school/vocational technical school. She and her husband Mark have been married for 30 years and have two children.

Kim Malkmus

Kimberly Malkmus is an administrative support specialist for MCC Business & Learning Solutions, a division of Metropolitan Community College that provides a wide variety of training, development and consulting services to business and industry in and around metropolitan Kansas City.

Kimberly has worked for Metropolitan Community College since before even graduating from high school. She joined MCC in 1998 as a part-time clerk, and then after graduation she became a part-time senior secretary. In 2002 she was promoted to a full-time administrative assistant position before being promoted again to her current role as administrative support specialist for MCC Business & Learning Solutions.

Kimberly earned an associate of arts degree, awarded with honors, from MCC-Longview. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their young son.

Kim Malkmus

Jane Meyer

Jane Meyer is an administrative assistant with MCC Business & Learning Solutions, a division of Metropolitan Community College that provides a wide variety of training, development and consulting services to business and industry in and around metropolitan Kansas City.

Jane joined MCC in 2007 as administrative assistant to the vice chancellor of administrative services before moving to MCC Business & Learning Solutions in 2008. Prior to MCC, Jane was an independent business owner for 23 years, operating a home day care business. She also coordinated the development and implementation of a day care program at Knox Presbyterian Church.

Jane earned a bachelor of science in home economics and early childhood education from Kansas State University. She has served as day care committee chairperson, deacon, and youth sponsor at Knox Presbyterian Church. She has long-standing involvement with Habitat for Humanity and has traveled to Pensacola, Florida seven times for Habitat mission trips.

Linda Weber

Linda Weber is an administrative support specialist for MCC Business & Learning Solutions, a division of Metropolitan Community College that provides a wide variety of training, development and consulting services to business and industry in and around metropolitan Kansas City. She supports the sales team and is responsible for scheduling and administration for the exhibit hall at MCC-Business & Technology.

Linda has been with Metropolitan Community College since 1985, when she joined the MCC-Maple Woods bookstore staff as a clerk. In 1993, she moved to the district office to work as an accounting clerk, and then in 1998 she became a financial services specialist. In 2007, she moved to the business development office and in 2008 she took on her current role with MCC Business & Learning Solutions. She has also worked part-time since 1999 for Great Guns in Kearney, Mo., helping with accounting, marketing and customer service.

Linda earned an associate of arts degree from MCC-Maple Woods and a graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science from Park University, where she was on the dean’s list. She has participated in training for C++, SQL, micro and macro economics, database management, and PeopleSoft.

Linda has served as MCC staff association president and volunteered for numerous efforts around the MCC district. She also volunteers for Special Olympics and the Missouri Quarter Horse Association. In her free time, she enjoys cross-stitch, making jewelry and showing horses.

Jackie Wolf

Jackie Wolf is the business office administrative support specialist for MCC Business & Learning Solutions, a division of Metropolitan Community College that provides a wide variety of training, development and consulting services to business and industry in and around metropolitan Kansas City.

Jackie joined MCC in 1986 after working as secretary for the Non-Traditional Degree Program at Western Illinois University. She began her MCC career as secretary to the director of MCC-Longview’s Business, Industry, and Agency office. When the director was made dean of continuing education, Jackie moved over to that department, and in 1996 she became the administrative support specialist working exclusively with the Missouri Customized Training Program. She currently supports the business functions of MCC Business & Learning Solutions and is the primary administrator for the Harley-Davidson contract.

Jackie has completed coursework at both MCC-Longview and MCC-Business & Technology. She grew up in Illinois and moved to Kansas City in 1985. She has been married for 37 years and has three children and five grandchildren.
